Hi my name is Danika and I am a year 6 at Pompallier school.I am a outdoors girl.I have two dogs one of them is 13 years old that is one year older than my big brother Ash(he´s my only sibling). Mum says when Shar (my 13 year old dog) was a puppy she was bouncing around on mum´s pregnant belly.I had a 2 year old ´´puppy´´ named Tess but she got hit on the road by accident. But we got a new puppy called Bella Bell for short she is the cutest thing ever!!!!!!!!
I have 3 horses Dream my mum rides her ,Shorty my brother and I share him and Lady my sweet hart. We have about 40-50 sheep.19 chickens I´m not to sure though and 1 mischief goat called FRED he´s been against my Dad since day one.We had rabbits and ducks once but we sold them. Occasionally we have pigs buuuuuttt.......... Any way weave had great times with them we spend most of our time with our pets.
I do not have a favorite food but I like some more then others chocolate over broccoli for example

1080 agree or disagree?
W.A.L.T write an argument piece about 1080.In order for it to be successful we needed to have your opinion if you agree or disagree a reason.1 reason.2 and reason.3 then a different P.O.V and finally a conclusion.
This is my argument piece about 1080
I agree with 1080 because without it endemic species would have no chance against Possums,rats stoats...NZ species do NOT have a defense mechanism to save them selves.It also enabled predator free offshore islands.
It does not kill as many of target species as the media says. All the dead birds were killed by cold snap not 1080.It’s fake news the dead birds were scientifically tested.Driving your car is more toxic than 1080.
1080 is also the cheapest pest control tool in NZ and possible the world.It is only $12-$18 per hectare which is amazing.
The Possums Rats and Stoats do die a horrible death but what’s humane about a rat and or Possums eating a mother bird and her chicks.
In Conclusion 1080 is a valuable tool that helped boost back endangered species like birds and lizards which we all thought were goners.
